Custody and parenting time
A parenting plan built from your children's real week
Custody isn't won in a sentence. It's built from school runs, handoffs, holidays and the phone call at bedtime.
We start with the children's week as it is now: who drives, who's home after school, where they sleep before a big game. From that we draft a plan both parents can live with, and ask the court to approve it. When parents can't agree, we prepare the case for a judge, with the children's routine at the center of it. Old plans can be changed too, when a child grows, a parent moves, or the schedule stops working.

Questions we hear
Will my children have to go to court?
Rarely. Judges usually hear about children from their parents, and sometimes from an evaluator. We'll tell you early if that might happen.
Can we change an old parenting plan?
Yes, when circumstances have changed. Many of our clients come back years after a divorce for exactly this.
What if the other parent wants to move away?
Relocation has its own rules and deadlines. Call us as soon as you hear about it.
Do you work with parents who were never married?
Yes. The parenting plan and support work the same way, with a few extra papers at the start.

A first call doesn't make us your lawyers; a signed engagement letter does.
